Dectar announces the release of version 7.3.0 of ACSIA SOS.
This update brings several new features and enhancements designed to improve security and functionality.
New features in v.7.3.0
Compliance dashboards integration
- ACSIA SOS now includes direct access to the Wazuh Dashboard, enabling users to monitor compliance with critical security standards, such as GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, NIST 800-53, and Trust Services Criteria (TSC). This integration allows users to easily monitor compliance status and address vulnerabilities from within the ACSIA SOS environment.
Note: By default, users are not enabled to access this functionality. To view the Wazuh dashboards, the user must be enabled, and a password specific to this purpose must be generated. This password will then be used to log into the Wazuh dashboards directly from ACSIA SOS. Please, follow this guide to enable users for this new feature.
Improvements in v.7.3.0
Sigma rule update – “Executable File Dropped in Folder Commonly Used by Malware”
- The Sigma rule for detecting executable files dropped in folders commonly used by malware has been updated. Windows “safe” processes have been added to the exclusion list, significantly reducing the number of false positives generated. This improvement enhances the accuracy of incident detection, allowing users to focus on real threats and streamline their security operations.
Custom date range selector on dashboard
- A new feature has been added to the dashboard that allows users to select custom date ranges. This provides greater flexibility when analyzing data over specific time periods, empowering users to specify start and end dates for more granular insights into system activity and incident trends.
User interface enhancement – tenant selector
- The tenant selector has been moved from the sidebar to the top of the main page, streamlining navigation. This change improves the user experience by offering a cleaner interface and faster access to tenant management, reducing the number of clicks required to switch between tenants.
Mobile and tablet support
- ACSIA SOS is now fully responsive and optimized for use on smartphones and tablets. Users can seamlessly access the platform from mobile devices, ensuring enhanced usability and accessibility on the go without compromising on functionality or performance.
