<p>With all its flexibility and freedom, <strong>remote work</strong> can hide significant emotional pitfalls. Isolation, mental overload, and the difficulty of drawing a clear line between personal and professional life are challenges many of us face daily. In an era where work-life balance is increasingly emphasized, it&#8217;s evident how much our emotions influence our productivity and well-being—especially when the office walls disappear and home becomes our sole workspace. </p>



<p>From this awareness, <strong>Dectar decided to create a free counseling service for our employees:</strong> a safe virtual space where anyone, no matter where they are, can receive professional support.</p>



<p>This initiative responded to the emotional challenges amplified by intense work rhythms and professional pressures. Not coincidentally, many of us had just watched <strong>Inside Out 2</strong> while reflecting on this. Watching the film, we realized how the personified emotions—anxiety, anger, joy, and sadness—perfectly reflect the emotional dynamics we experience daily, both in our personal and work lives.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Anxiety at Work: A Global Challenge</strong></h2>



<p>The film invites us to reflect on the<strong> importance of emotions in the workplace</strong>. In recent years, research has shown how emotions like <strong>anxiety, sadness, and fear can negatively affect performance and professional motivation</strong>. It&#8217;s no surprise that today, <strong>work-life balance</strong> is one of the top priorities for people, an increasingly difficult equilibrium to maintain.</p>



<p class="is-style-default">After the pandemic, anxiety became one of the leading causes of distress, to the point of being recognized as one of the driving forces behind the<strong> &#8220;great resignation,&#8221;</strong> where thousands of people resigned or sought new work opportunities. Job dissatisfaction, tied to toxic environments and a lack of attention to employees&#8217; emotions, has created a climate that hinders professional fulfillment.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>The Importance of Acknowledging Emotions</strong></h2>



<p>In recent years, various studies have demonstrated how emotions influence our motivation and professional performance. The pandemic further intensified these dynamics, revealing how hard it is to keep work and private life separate, especially in remote settings. That&#8217;s why our decision to offer free emotional support to employees goes beyond just promoting well-being: it addresses a real need to recognize emotions and learn to manage them healthily.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>How Can Counseling Help in the Workplace?</strong></h2>



<p>At Dectar, we understand the importance of addressing these challenges. That&#8217;s why we decided to offer a free counseling service to our employees. <strong>Counseling is a support service that helps individuals explore and tackle their emotional difficulties, both personal and professional, with the help of a qualified professional. It&#8217;s not just about improving individual well-being but contributing to a healthier and more productive company climate.</strong></p>

<p>Inside Out 2 taught us a valuable truth: emotions are inevitable, even negative ones like fear, anger, and anxiety. And most importantly, we cannot run away from or suppress them. Our work, like life, is a constant balance of these feelings, and learning to recognize and manage them is essential for our well-being.</p>



<p>Through our counseling service, we aim to help our employees do just that: understand that they are not alone in their emotions and that there are tools to face even the most difficult days. As Inside Out 2 teaches us, even anxiety can become a guide if we learn to listen to it and manage it properly.</p>

<p><strong>Il lavoro da remoto</strong>, con tutta la sua flessibilità e libertà, può nascondere insidie emotive importanti. L&#8217;isolamento, il sovraccarico mentale e la difficoltà di tracciare un confine tra vita privata e professionale sono sfide che molti di noi affrontano quotidianamente. In un&#8217;epoca in cui si parla sempre di più di <strong><em>work-life balance</em>, </strong>diventa evidente quanto le emozioni influenzino il nostro rendimento e benessere, soprattutto quando le mura dell’ufficio scompaiono e la casa diventa il nostro unico ambiente di lavoro. Da questa consapevolezza è nata in Dectar l&#8217;idea di creare uno <strong>sportello di counseling gratuito per i nostri dipendenti: uno spazio virtuale sicuro, dove chiunque, ovunque si trovi, possa ricevere supporto professionale.</strong></p>



<p>Questa iniziativa è stata una risposta alle sfide emotive amplificate dai ritmi intensi e dalle pressioni professionali. Non a caso, proprio mentre riflettevamo su questo, molti di noi avevano appena visto <em>Inside Out 2</em>. Guardando quel film, ci siamo resi conto di quanto le emozioni personificate nel lungometraggio – dall’ansia alla rabbia, dalla gioia alla tristezza – riflettano perfettamente le dinamiche emotive che viviamo ogni giorno, sia nella vita personale che in quella lavorativa.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>L’Ansia al Lavoro: Una Sfida Globale</strong></h2>



<p>Il film ci invita a riflettere sull’importanza delle emozioni nel contesto aziendale. Negli ultimi anni, la ricerca ha dimostrato come <strong>emozioni come l’ansia, la tristezza e la paura possano influenzare negativamente il rendimento e la motivazione professionale.</strong> Non è una sorpresa che oggi, tra le principali priorità delle persone, ci sia il <em>work-life balance</em>, un equilibrio tra vita personale e lavorativa sempre più difficile da mantenere.</p>



<p>Dopo la <strong>pandemia</strong>, l&#8217;ansia è diventata una delle principali cause di malessere, tanto da essere riconosciuta come uno dei motori dietro il fenomeno della <em><strong>great resignation</strong></em>, che ha visto migliaia di persone dimettersi o cercare nuove opportunità lavorative. L&#8217;insoddisfazione sul lavoro, legata a ambienti tossici e a una mancanza di attenzione verso le emozioni dei dipendenti, ha creato un clima che rende difficile la realizzazione professionale.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>L’Importanza di Riconoscere le Emozioni</strong></h2>



<p>Negli ultimi anni, diverse ricerche hanno dimostrato quanto le emozioni influenzino la nostra motivazione e il nostro rendimento professionale. La pandemia ha ulteriormente accentuato queste dinamiche, facendo emergere quanto sia difficile mantenere separati lavoro e vita privata, specialmente in contesti remoti. Ecco perché la nostra decisione di offrire supporto emotivo gratuito ai dipendenti va oltre la semplice cura del benessere:<strong> è una risposta a un bisogno concreto, quello di riconoscere le emozioni e imparare a gestirle in modo sano.</strong></p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Come Può Aiutare il Counseling in Azienda?</strong></h2>

Il nostro lavoro, come la vita, è un costante equilibrio tra questi sentimenti, e imparare a riconoscerli e gestirli è fondamentale per il nostro benessere.</p>



<p>Grazie al nostro sportello di counseling, vogliamo aiutare i nostri dipendenti a fare proprio questo: a capire che non sono soli nelle loro emozioni e che esistono strumenti per affrontare anche le giornate più difficili. Come ci insegna <em>Inside Out 2</em>, anche l&#8217;ansia può diventare una guida, se impariamo ad ascoltarla e a gestirla nel modo giusto.</p>



<p><strong>Con il counseling remoto, siamo certi di poter migliorare il benessere dei nostri dipendenti e il clima aziendale, promuovendo una cultura basata sull’empatia e sull’intelligenza emotiva.</strong></p>
